Villa del Principe - Galleria Doria Pamphilj

The Triumph of Art

The Trust

Villa del Principe in Genoa, together with the Galleria di Palazzo Doria in Rome, are part of the monumental complexes that belonged to the Doria Pamphilj family.

For generations, the Doria Pamphilj Princes have directly managed the historical and artistic heritage of their dynasty.

In order to keep this commitment alive over time they established the Doria Pamphilj Trust in Italy in 2013 with the aim of guaranteeing its preservation in the Italian and international cultural interest.

The Trust has as its object the collection of works of art of inestimable historical and artistic value preserved in the halls of Palazzo Doria Pamphilj in Rome and Villa del Principe in Genoa.

Its Italian Trustees are engaged in constant restoration and maintenance of these palaces, in conservation programmes for the collection’s assets as well as in the careful management of these museums, actions aimed at preserving and making known this extraordinary heritage of history, culture and beauty.
